J.Buckhill Consultancy Services (JBCS) is a multidiscipline engineering firm with a regional focus in Project Delivery. With vast international experience in project engineering, JBCS  provide quality engineering and project management services from concept design to practical completion and project closeout. We provide expertise in minerals and metals, hydrocarbons, power, infrastructure, environment, water and building services engineering. We provide engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCM) and project management consultancy (PMC) services that are capable of coping with the stringent demands of the resources, energy, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors.

At J.Buckhill Consultancy Services, we engage professional civil, structural, mechanical, process, electrical engineers and project managers to suit clients project requirements. JBCS has the capability to quickly mobilise a project team through our networking both local and abroad. Together with this team of professionals, sub-consultants and other industry representatives, JBCS has forged a proven record of excellence in the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services from large capital projects to small studies.

Currently, JBCS is leading the way  and on the  right path with its new generation of environmentally friendly engineering solutions as core part of its business. Dr. Jack B Khallahle (PhD) is the Principal of J.Buckhill Consultancy Services and a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the PNG University of Technology in Lae, PNG. Dr Khallahle  has over 30 years of professional experience in engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) and project management consultancy (PMC) services with consulting engineering and mining companies throughout Australia and PNG as a professional engineer working on both greenfield and brownfield capital projects. Dr Khallahle is highly experienced and versatile with diverse skills and fully knowledgeable in the design and implementation of civil, mechanical engineering, mine Infrastructure and continuous improvement or growth projects for lead/zinc smelters, mines and minerals processing or separation plants.

Dr Khallahle has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in mechanical engineering from the PNG University of Technology (PNGUT) in Lae PNG in 1987 and a Master of Engineering Science (MEngSc) degree in mechanical engineering from The University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney Australia in 2001. Dr Khallahle was admitted as a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia (MIEAust) on the 9th of April 2008 in Western Australia after a successful skill assessment based on competency demonstration report (CDR) and reassessment in 2012  in order to comply with ANZSCO233512 (Mechanical Engineer) in Adelaide, South Australia. Dr Khallahle has been an active member of Engineers Australia since 2008 and currently working on his Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) membership.

Dr Khallahle is a multidiscipline Project Manager and once managed a multi-national engineering team as a Team Leader Engineering with the giant Ok Tedi Mining Limited in PNG prior to working for Rio Tinto's Pilbara Iron, WorleyParsons Services  and WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff in Australia where he leads by example and ensures that projects  are delivered safely on time and within specification without exceeding budget for clients in full compliance with statutory requirements, regulations and in accordance to applicable standards and codes throughout three different states of Australia (WA, SA and NSW).

Dr. Jack Khallahle has sucessfully completed his PhD study in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) at the University of Sydney in Australia since June 2022 under the Australian Awards (DFAT) Scholarship program conducting research in two-phase oil-gas flow in the horizontal conduit.
